Apply Now Posting Number : PC -24-72 Job Type : Permanent Full-time, Union Salary Range : $52,798.20 to $63,226.80 per year Location : Barrie, ON - Onsite (see below for more details) Posted : Friday, December 6, 2024 Application Deadline : Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 11 : 59 pm The Opportunity The Legislative and Court Services Department is comprised of three branches; Legislative Services (which includes Council Secretariat, Corporate Mail and Print Services, Vital Statistics and Access and Privacy Services), Court Services (which is responsible for the administration of justice within two court service areas in compliance with the Provincial Offences Act, the Memorandum of Understanding and Inter-municipal Service Agreements) and Enforcement Services which is responsible for administering and enforcing several municipal by-laws including but not limited to regulations related to the parking of vehicles, pet controls, property maintenance, business licensing, and sign placement). The Courtroom Support Clerk is responsible to provide court support and administration services in the Provincial Offences Court in accordance with provincial legislation, directives and operational guidelines. This position plays an integral role both in and outside of the courtroom to ensure the integrity of the Ontario Court of Justice system is maintained. Travel to the Orillia court location is required.
