Make an impact as a Senior Manager, Trust leading our Indigenous Trust Services team. Our Indigenous Services team of diverse professionals works with more than 270 Indigenous peoples, groups and organizations across Canada and shares a passion for learning and understanding their history, culture, and contributions to our country. With more than 500 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead Trust engagements that empower Indigenous governments. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful change and contribute to the growth of Indigenous communities and their membership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution providing Trust advisory services to Indigenous communities
  • Identify creative solutions that enhance client value, ensuring their needs are met while fostering long-lasting relationships
  • Review, design, and develop high quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other documents
  • Deliver presentations to Indigenous community leaders and members
  • Utilize specialized knowledge to anticipate and address issues or risks, ensuring the highest quality of service for our clients
  • Engage with Indigenous leaders, law firms, and Trustees to explore development opportunities
  • Build an effective team to deliver professional services to meet our client needs
  • Mentor team members to achieve their professional and personal goals by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting effective performance reviews
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required

Skills and Experience

  • Five or more years working with Indigenous clients and their Trusts
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or another related field
  • Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation preferred with audit experience
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
  • Law degree preferred
  • Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
