Role Description :
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficiency of the procurement and inventory functions. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely replenishment of inventory items and supporting both immediate needs and long-term planning within the Operations.
Inventory Management
- Analyze and manage non-stock and direct purchases to ensure optimal usage and cost control.
- Coordinate inventory replenishment activities, including re-order point replenishment, on-demand replenishment and long-term planning replenishment.
- Work closely with procurement, operations and planning teams to forecast and align inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the ERP and support continuous improvement activities.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the inventory processes to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain inventory performance metrics and reporting tools to track KPI's such as inventory turns, stockout rates and lead times.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to anticipate demand for critical spares and consumables.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by ensuring inventory records and documentation meet internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Support inventory cycle counts and reconciliation efforts to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
- Participate in supply chain optimization initiatives, including vendor evaluations and process improvements.
- Assist in the implementation and testing of ERP system upgrades and related digital tools to enhance inventory visibility and control.
- Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Post secondary education is preferable in business administration, commerce, supply chain or related program.2 years or more of inventory management experience within a supply chain team.Ability to lead change.Strong safety conscience background.Understanding of safety stock and inventory planning methodologies considered an asset.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Seniority level
