ACSI is seeking an Electrician RED SEAL Journeyperson to support our civil, electrical, and mechanical services on future projects. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, and a proven track record in industrial construction environments.
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Install cable tray, conduit, and terminate cable; locate and install equipment, panels, sensors, and other control components.
- Fabricate control panels and perform wiring check‑out.
- Lay out circuits, set up breaker panels and junction boxes, and install light fixtures and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure all installations follow applicable regulations and trade practices.
- Install, alter, repair, and maintain electrical equipment for safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation.
- Pull wire through conduits and cable tray systems.
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
- Splice, join, and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.
- Install brackets and hangers to support equipment.
- Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and control/distribution equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers.
- Test continuity of circuits using test equipment and perform repairs following proper installation guidelines.
- Mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.
Requirements and Experience
- Valid Provincial Journeyperson Ticket with RED SEAL.
- WHMIS 2015 certificate.
- Fall Protection certification.
- Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) certification.
- Experience as an electrician in an industrial construction environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
