About the role

The successful candidate will be an experienced and detail-oriented team member who contributes strongly to our manufacturing operations and is trusted by their peers. This is an opportunity to advance your skills in Amada CNC programming for both laser cutting and press brake forming.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Amada CNC programs for laser cutting and press brake forming
• Use Amada software (VPSS 4i, Dr. Abe Bend / Blank) to create nests, bend programs, and setup sheets
• Read and interpret CAD drawings, engineering documentation, and traveler reports
• Support machine operators by providing accurate instructions and troubleshooting assistance
• Ensure machine output conforms to engineering specifications and quality standards
• Evaluate tooling, bend allowances, and nesting layouts to maximize efficiency and material utilization
• Troubleshoot programming and process issues, and provide continuous improvement feedback
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to improve part designs for manufacturability
