Overview

St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time Physical Education Gr 7 / 8, Social Gr 8 and Electives Gr 8 teaching position at Father Leduc Catholic School in Leduc, Alberta. This position will begin April 7, 2026 and end June 26, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach a temporary full-time schedule for Physical Education Grade 7 / 8, Social Studies Grade 8, and Electives Grade 8 at Father Leduc Catholic School, Leduc, Alberta, from April 7, 2026 to June 26, 2026.
• Assist in co-curricular and extra-curricular programs; experience coaching school sports, demonstrating leadership, teamwork and student engagement is an asset.
• Demonstrate a commitment to a Catholic education environment; possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph\'s College is an asset.

Father Leduc Catholic School is a new Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in the Southfork neighbourhood of Leduc, currently serving over 600 students. The school aims to create a culture rich in academics, athletics, and the arts within a Christ-centered environment. Leduc is a city of 31,000 people located 33 kilometers south of Edmonton in the Edmonton Capital Region, with a growing economy, arts and culture scene, natural spaces, and active community groups.
