"Title : Technical Lead MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & Power BI)

Job Overview : We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise across the Microsoft BI stack—SSIS, SSAS (Tabular / Multi-Dimensional), SSRS, and Power BI—to design, build, optimize. This role requires deep technical contribution.

Skills, Experience, and Responsibilities :

• years of experience in Microsoft BI stack - SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & Power BI
• Lead technical decision-making for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Perform hands-on development while guiding junior and mid-level developers.
• Define BI standards, deployment strategies, naming conventions, and performance best practices.
• Design and develop robust ETL / ELT pipelines using SSIS
• Implement Incremental loads, CDC, and SCD (Type / / ), Error handling, logging, auditing, Parameterized packages and environment-based configurations
• Optimize SSIS packages for high-volume and near-real-time data loads.
• Integrate data from relational, flat file, API, cloud, and third-party sources.
• Implement Star and Snowflake schemas, Complex DAX and MDX calculations, Measures, KPIs, hierarchies, perspectives, and translations
• Optimize models for query performance and memory efficiency.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access.
• Tune aggregations, partitions, and processing strategies.
• Design and develop pixel-perfect, parameter-driven reports.
• Build Drill-down, drill-through, sub-reports, Scheduled subscriptions and data-driven alerts
• Optimize report execution and dataset performance.
• Support operational, regulatory, and executive reporting needs.
• Develop advanced Power BI solutions, Data modeling and transformation using Power Query, Interactive dashboards and analytical reports
• Implement Incremental refresh and Dataset optimization and performance tuning
• Manage deployment pipelines (Dev / Test / Prod) and version control.
• Work with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and cloud data sources.
• Support hybrid BI solutions (on-prem + cloud).
• Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and application teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Partner with product owners, business analysts, and leadership.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
• Mentor BI developers and reviewers on best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and performance tuning sessions.
• Own delivery timelines, risk mitigation, and technical quality."
