Job description

Position : Licensed Social Worker Therapist

Location : Dartmouth MA 02747

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Type : Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary

Contract Length : 13 weeks (accepting local and travel candidates)

Compensation

  • Weekly Gross Pay : $1920 $2000
  • Nontaxable travel / housing and M&I stipend available for eligible travelers.

Schedule

  • Unit : Inpatient Mental Health / Behavioral Health
  • Shift : 8 hours; Days (8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM)
  • Schedule : 40 hours / week guaranteed Monday Friday. Occasional weekends and nights may be required.

    • Position Requirements

  • Experience :
  • 12 years of Social Worker or Therapist experience (Required).
  • 1 year of recent / current Psychiatric or Behavioral Health experience in an inpatient setting (Required).
  • Experience conducting or leading therapies and assessments (Required).
  • Skills :
  • Comfortable with paper charting.

    • Education License and Certifications

  • Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology (or equivalent) Required .
  • LICSW or LMFT license Required .
  • BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross Required .
  • CPI or HWC Certification Preferred .

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide social work and therapy services to patients with behavioral health needs for an assigned caseload.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to develop care plans.
  • Lead or conduct group therapies.
  • Conduct assessments.
  • Provide crisis intervention prevention and management as needed.
  • Document patient care and therapies using paper charting.
