Job Description

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated summer students to join our team in various administrative roles. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic educational environment.

Summary of Duties

  • Engineering Architecture Design :  Provide support in the areas of design, construction, and maintenance to the TDSB Construction Project teams, including tasks related to engineering, architecture, and design.
  • Information Technology :  Support IT projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with system updates and maintenance.
  • Finance Accounting :  Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting tasks, including data entry and analysis.
  • Human Resources / Office Administration / Business Services :  Provide administrative support to a department, which may include preparing correspondence, data entry, customer service, filing, conducting research, and other related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary educational institution and returning to full-time studies in the fall. Proof of September enrollment in an educational institution may be requested.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience in a related field is an asset but not required.
  • Special Requirements

    Summer students must adhere to all Board policies and procedures.
