Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support civil and structural infrastructure projects across British Columbia, with a focus on highways and bridges. This hybrid role blends project management, contract administration, client engagement, and field inspection, offering exposure to complex public-sector infrastructure work.
The successful candidate will bring experience working with Ministry clients, administering contracts under OE, CCDC, and MMCD frameworks, and supporting claims resolution activities. This role requires hands-on inspection experience, strong stakeholder coordination, and the ability to travel throughout BC (travel costs fully covered).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee civil and structural construction projects, including highways and bridges
- Manage and administer contracts under OE, CCDC, and MMCD frameworks
- Support claims resolution, change management, and contract compliance
- Perform general field inspections, including asphalt, concrete, and reinforcing steel
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Engage with Ministry and public-sector clients to gather requirements and align expectations
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and provide clear reporting on risks, issues, and milestones
