Startec Compression & Process is currently recruiting a Material Controller / Receiver to work at our Shepard Shop ( 9423 Shepard Rd SE Calgary AB T2C 4R6) . The Material Controller / Receiver will be responsible for ensuring efficient and seamless management of materials and inventory within the warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the Materials Controller / Receiver will be responsible for the procurement storage and distribution of materials required for various projects working closely with procurement teams and project managers. The Materials Controller / Receiver will focus on maintaining accurate inventory records optimizing stock levels and ensuring compliance of effective inventory control measures. The role requires meticulous attention to detail strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI) :

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT (Weighting 40%)

Inventory Control

• Monitor and maintain the stock levels of materials required for compression and processing operations
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials to meet production schedules.
• Monitor the inventory control process including regular cycle counts and reconciliation with system records.
• Assist in optimizing inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
• Ensure accurate recording of all inventory transactions in the materials management system..
