Description
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values.
Responsibilities
- Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings.
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process
- Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach.Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.Compensation
$15 - $16 hourly
