Never satisfied with the status-quo, Econolease has made dynamic shifts in the lending space already with an ambitious and calculated path ahead to render the legacy parts of our business obsolete. The Funding Analyst will review funding submissions to ensure funds are advanced to vendors in a timely manner. This role provides exceptional customer service throughout the fulfillment process by responding to inquiries and escalating issues as required. Data entry
Billing and Funding Operations
Review lease and rental documentation packages to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
Process billing and funding requests accurately and in a timely manner
Verify critical details, such as customer information, payment terms, and supporting documents, to ensure proper execution of contracts
Documentation and Quality Assurance
Identify and escalate discrepancies or deficiencies in contract documentation to the Team Lead or Funding Manager
Collaborate with internal departments such as Credit / Risk, Sales, Operations, and Accounting to resolve issues and obtain missing documentation
Maintain accurate and organized records of funded contracts and supporting materials
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements during the billing and funding process
Flag potential risks or compliance issues to the Team Lead or Funding Manager for review and resolution
Process Improvement
Contribute ideas and feedback to enhance billing and funding workflows and reduce processing times
Participate in team discussions on improving accuracy, efficiency, and customer / stakeholder satisfaction
Stay informed of policy or regulatory changes and adapt processes accordingly
Communicate with the Credit / Risk team, Sales Team, and Operations Team about funding submissions
Projects and Other Tasks

1-3 years of experience in funding, financial operations, or contract administration, preferably in leasing or financial services
~ Experience with funding systems is an asset
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
