Juniper Networks seeks a Senior Account Manager to drive growth through the development and expansion of customer relationships within Tier 2 Canadian Service providers.

In this position, a strategic focus and the ability to understand client and Juniper business are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to determine business drivers, create a strategy for driving growth, and work with internal and external resources to bring that strategy to life.

This person will lead and implement all Service Provider go-to-market activities for infrastructure and channel, including sales strategy, execution, and delivery, across all Juniper products within the Canada Region.

Key responsibilities include leading a high-performance sales team, sophisticated deal negotiations, strategy development and execution, quota attainment, sales presentations, Solution selling, business case development, and sales leadership / management.

The individual will manage Tier 2 named accounts in Central Canada and work closely with corporate PLMs, Architects, Center of Excellence, and supporting Juniper resources!

Experience in engaging resources, including the BU’s, to drive sales. Must demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners, and customers using a Win / Win philosophy.

Experience in selling Service Provider and Enterprise networking solutions / products preferred. Must be an aggressive self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, articulate Juniper product and business strategies, and create demand and close deals.

Ideal Candidate Background :

  • 8 + years of progressive sales leadership roles
  • Must have industry knowledge of Cisco, ARISTA, HP, Palo Alto Networks and Juniper product portfolios.
  • Must have experience using Salesforce.com, build 3, 6, 9 & 12 month pipelines.
  • Exceptional customer-facing / listening skills and the ability to drive the account team.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a successful go-to market plan and multiyear (three-year) business / sales plan.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including listening, written, and public speaking.
  • Key industry and customer (CxO) relationships (Tier 1 Canadian Carriers)
  • Must have a clear understanding of industry selling methodology; MEDDPICC, and Value based selling.
