Job descriptionBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics Minimum 8 years of relevant design and test experience, with a specialty in Electrical hardware development in a new product development environment Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience Six Sigma tool usage and best practices Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness Experience with complete engineering lifecycle (Design to volume production) Electrical simulation experience (P-Spice & other industry std. tools) Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, and are willing to do things before being asked by others or forced to by events. Ability to lead a Project, including application of budgetary controls and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Simulation and Design
- Electrical parts packaging and drawing development
- Performance specification review and development
- Cooperating with and interacting with external vendors
- Incoming part inspection and validation
- Supporting manufacturing line requests for assistance
- Customer site visits
- Hands on testing and development of test set ups
