What you will be doing :
Daily stores activities including ordering storing receiving organizing and issuing of food & beverage productsEstablish a professional business relationship with all internal & external clientsProactive monitoring and assisting with improvement to food & beverage costsEnsure all products are accounted forProducts are checked for quality stored safely and securelyAccurate inventories are conducted to ensure timely order fulfilmentPurchasing standards are strictly implementedEnsure a smooth and efficient functioning of the day to day operations of the stores departmentProvide guidance mentorship and feedback to all colleagues and work to enhance colleague moraleTrain new colleagues and train colleagues on new initiatives within the department and HotelMaintain a safety culture within the department and ensure departmental adherence to and awareness of Health and Safety standardsEnsure all hotel and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all timesLead month end inventory countsOther duties as assignedQualifications :
Your experience and skills include :
Minimum 2 years recent experience as a store person or an equivalent position with experience in inventory or stock control or 6 months as a supervisor in a stores department of a hotel of a similar size and standardAbility to effectively understand the varying business levels and implement decisions with a high level of attention to detailExecute multiple tasks within strict deadlines while displaying attention to details and business levelsFood Beverage & Operating Supplies product knowledgeDemonstrated accounting and inventory controlMust be bondableImpeccable grooming and presentationCompletely fluent English language skills; both written and verbalDemonstrated excellent organizational skillsDemonstrated team player with proven success in relationship building within all levels of the organizationDemonstrated a high level of responsibility and commitmentProven history of working well with minimal supervisionDemonstrated knowledge of safe working proceduresProficient in use of Excel and EmailPurchasing & receiving experience would be an assetSupervisory experience would be an assetRemote Work : Employment Type :
