Merchandiser

DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an Experienced Merchandiser to work in your area representing top companies in the Grocery, Cosmetic and Electronic Industry. While you may have the opportunity to service several clients while working on the Reset Team at Acosta Mosaic, this role is specifically working for our Danone client. Some of the Danone brands you will be working with are Activia, Oikos, Silk and International Delight.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support our client’s merchandising initiatives and enhance relationships with Store and Department Managers by delivering best-in-class merchandising services. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work daytime hours, having a semi-flexible work schedule, and enjoys working independently - all while having an excellent support team to call upon should the need arise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to support our clients' merchandising initiatives and enhance relationships with store and service managers. Specifically:

• Install and update shelves, screens, and walls according to the provided planogram and instructions.

• Schedule and plan store visits within the assigned territory.

• Communicate work schedules to the support team members, as needed.

• Participate in training conference calls, online training, and on-the-job training as required.

• Establish and foster strong working relationships with key store contacts.

• Complete all shift reports, including daily reports with photographs of completed requests (online).

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ Year Merchandising Experience Grocery merchandising experience (preferred but not essential, any merchandising related experience will be considered)

• Intermediate level and above English reading comprehension.

• Strong attention to detail, specifically understanding and executing changes to a planogram.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.

• Proactively identify issues and show initiative in solving problems.

• Energetic, independent, and enthusiastic.

• Flexible and adaptable with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication skills (written and oral)with timely responses during work days.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm time frame, schedule to be based on needs of client.

• The ability to lift up to 30-40lbs, role can be physically demanding at times.

• Valid driver's license, access to the exclusive use of a reliable vehicle.

• Comfortable travelling up to 50kms from your region. (Including paid commute time + expenses)

• Computer savvy with access to a PC Computer and internet and the ability to take and submit photos of your work.

• Comfortable working in dairy chillers/coolers. Most Danone products are in refrigerated coolers.
