Overview
Operator 2 – Cannabis Production at SNDL Inc. Location : Kelowna Valens Agritech Facility. Reporting to the Production Manager. This role is responsible for running the pre-rolls / vape filling equipment related to cannabis production, with accurate completion of processes and competent use of equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate and oversee pre-roll equipment / vape fillers.
- Act as subject matter expert and trainer for Operator 1s.
- Serve as back-up across all Operator 1 roles.
- Ensure label application meets quality specifications.
- Oversee packing teams and coordinate daily production setup.
- Verify packaging materials and monitor production quality.
- Clean and set up equipment between production runs.
- Follow all SOPs, GMP standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, update SOPs, and complete logbooks.
- Assist with troubleshooting and support real-time production demands.
- Perform general housekeeping and support the packaging line as needed.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years operating high-speed filling and labeling equipment in food / beverage or cannabis.Hands-on experience with Aesus labellers, Domino / Videojet printers (asset).Knowledge of label application, seam inspection, and troubleshooting techniques.Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.Knowledge of cGMP is a strong asset.Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.Excellent communication skills and documentation skills.Why You’ll Enjoy Working With Us
