As the leading high-end men’s wear clothier in Canada, Harry Rosen has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Brand Manager, who will be responsible for Harry Rosen, E Zegna and the Harry’s Outlets.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following :

  • Assist in the development of brand strategy for all store banners, owned brands, and assigned brand marketing initiatives
  • Write and manage marketing briefs that deliver multi-channel, full-funnel, customer-centric campaigns
  • Lead designated integrated marketing plans and campaigns, from conception to execution
  • Collaborate with freelancers, media partners and internal teams on media strategies that leverage owned, earned and paid media
  • Develop marketing innovation to surprise and delight our customer
  • Achieve cohesive and consistent messaging across customer touchpoints
  • Partner with the data analytics team to set, monitor, and measure marketing KPIs
  • Champion development and use of customer personas and segmentation in marketing strategies
  • Develop customer insights and post-mortems to inform future plans
  • Analyze customer outcomes and sales reports by division, department and brand
  • Work with cross-functional teams and partners to provide recommendations
  • Assist with the planning, development and communication of the marketing calendar
  • Align sales planning and promotions with the marketing calendar
  • Assist in the development of integrated marketing plans by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing process
  • Assist with seasonal department budget planning
  • Responsible for monthly forecasting, ongoing billing and tracking of all assigned expenses
  • Develop plans to generate brand PR and earned media
  • Manage relationships with PR agencies and / or freelancers to drive PR strategies
  • Drive key messaging that reaches our consumers through third party channels that support with the communications of marketing and brand strategy
  • Own in-store event channel objectives and support
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and external agencies
  • Partner with internal teams to develop breakthrough omni-channel creative campaigns and events
  • Partner with the store operations and visual merchandising teams to develop best-in-class in-store marketing communications
  • Hold one-one meetings and complete assessments of direct reports.
  • Manage team engagement, development, and succession planning.
  • Establish performance standards and lead by example.
  • Model flexibility and embrace change in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have the following background and experience :

  • University Degree is required
  • 8 years of experience in a similar position
  • Demonstrated ability to work with numerous internal / external resources and departments to reach objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in managing external media planners and buyers, and creative teams
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to both think strategy and has a high detail orientation
  • Working knowledge of digital media and technology
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the fashion / retail industry an asset
