Job description4+ years of sales or customer service experience, ideally in industrial or mechanical products (Plumping, HVAC, Valves, connectors, Parts, etc) College diploma in Sales, Business, or Mechanical Engineering Technology (CET) Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Intermediate Microsoft Office and web app skills Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record Willingness to travel daily (some overnight / international travel may be required) Bilingual in French and English is required
Position Overview :
We’re looking for a motivated and personable Outside Sales Representative to join the team in Quebec City . In this role, you’ll grow and manage customer accounts across the region, combining relationship-building with sales expertise to support business growth. If you're passionate about customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being on the road, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify opportunities, provide quotes, and follow-up on ongoing projects
- Resolve issues with support from internal teams (inside sales, credit, warehouse)
- Stay up to date on product offerings and industry trends
- Attend trade shows and special events to promote company products
- Support order processing and help on the order desk when needed
- Monitor customer credit activity and flag concerns to management
