We're hiring for a Plastics Fabrication Technician to join our team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position in our plastics fabrication department, with a starting wage of $22 per hour.

This role involves heat bending small plastic components to specific angles. It requires a keen eye and a steady hand, as the process is more of a developed skill than a scientific one. Your daily tasks will include:
Placing small plastic components onto a heat bender.
Bending the components to the required angles.
Cleaning and packaging the finished parts.

No prior experience with plastics is necessary. You'll be provided all the training you need to succeed.


Location: Pitt Meadows, BC
Position: Temporary to Permanent
Shift and Times: Monday to Friday -8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22/hr

This location is transit accessible with a 20 minute walk
*Steel toed shoes required*

Responsibilities
-Precisely position small plastic components onto a specialized heat bending machine, ensuring proper alignment to achieve accurate results.
-Skillfully manipulate the heated components to precisely form the required angles and shapes, following job specifications and quality standards.
-Thoroughly inspect and prepare finished parts by removing any residue, cleaning surfaces, and carefully packaging them according to product guidelines, ready for shipment or further assembly.

Qualifications
-No prior experience with plastics or heat bending is required. All training will be provided.
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
-Manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components.
-A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Reliable and punctual.
