Fireplace Service Technician - Lake Country Co-op @ Homes Prince Albert

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Fireplace Service Technician onsite / job site at our Homes by Lake Country location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. As a Fireplace Service Technician, you will serve as the key contact for customers undertaking residential or commercial fireplace installations. This role is responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of fireplace units and related components. What You Will Do :

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Collaborate with the Homes by Lake Country sales team to conduct seamless fireplace installations and maintenance.
• Install new fireplace systems (gas, wood and pellet) according to manufacturer specifications, local codes and company standards.
• Service and repair existing fireplace units, including venting systems, controls, and safety devices.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical or operational issues efficiently.
• Ensure all installations and repairs meet code requirements and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of their fireplace system.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts / materials.
• Stay current on new fireplace models, technologies, and building code changes.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements.

Who You Will Work With : Reporting to the Homes by Lake Country Site Team Leader, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external partners to ensure a successful customer experience and project execution. This role is highly collaborative and requires effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to support both customer satisfaction and internal efficiency.
