Sales Engineer – HVAC / Mechanical

Our client, an innovative national ‘Wholesale Distribution’ leader in the HVAC and mechanical sector. Given their sensational growth, they are looking to bring on a technical, driven, but personable Sales Engineer to support this growth and focus on the Commercial segment within Vancouver Island. As an integral part of the commercial team, you will be on the front line, leading, expanding and managing the opportunity pipeline, while continuing to support existing clients.
The Sales Engineer will strengthen the relationships with their clients who are involved in the design and build of HVAC Systems. You will have experience dealing with these types of firms at all levels, from the executive level to Engineers. You will have previous experience and skilled with creating and executing a strategy to capitalize on all areas of commercial business that are within our client’s scope. Your strategic sales ability is proven through the management and execution of contracts, ensuring accurate and detailed product specifications and formulation of sales strategies and forecasts. You are also a team player, and able to collaborate and work closely with multiple departments and stakeholders (both internally and externally).This position will managing a strategic book of business will guide lunch & learn sessions. Networking, prospecting and targeting clients through strategic outreach is essential aspects of this position, which involves hosting meetings, and lunch & learn sessions with Consulting Firms, Commercial Mechanical Contractors, Engineering firms.
