Overall Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Services this role will provide support in generating custom reports utilizing various systems, conducting data quality checks related to Joint Interest agreements, and supporting the Conventional JI and Commercial teams on data analysis and other related ad hoc requests.

The successful candidate will be working closely with other internal stakeholders such as production accounting, JV accounting, Commercial/JV team and Land. You will have a proven capacity to balance multiple projects and a knack for building and fostering excellent collaborative working relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Manage CS Land data related to Joint Interest for data quality and integrity and ensure SOX compliance
• Query CS Land backend tables for monthly reports, data integrity checks and adhoc data requests
• Prepare monthly reports with P2 Optix, SAP (ECC, Business Objects) and Spotfire
• Solve ambiguous and complex problems with structured approach to identify relevant data sources, define criteria for data extraction, clean data, perform data analysis and present findings
• Synthesize data from different sources (Qbyte CS Land/Metrix/Financial, IHS, Energy Components, Enverus, Petrinex and SAP) to diagnose/troubleshoot data issues or to provide insights for initiatives and projects
• Utilize ArcGIS Pro to develop maps for data visualization and analysis in support of Conventional Commercial Services projects
• Work collaboratively across multiple functional teams to resolve issues related to application, data, process, and people

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Joint Interest agreements and the processes and applications which execute the financial components of the agreements
• Completion of or working towards completion of PJVA Administration Certificates
• Knowledge in data management of cost centers, division of interest, overhead, joint venture and processing fees
• Experience with Qbyte applications, P2 Optix, SAP (ECC, S/4 HANA and Business Objects), Spotfire, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, ArcGIS Pro, AccuMap, Enverus, Petrinex, and StackDX
• Experience with data integration and data migration would be an asset
