The Social Media Coordinator will help support and manage our Advisor social media marketing program and platform, Hearsay Social, enabling nearly 500 Advisors to market their services across multiple social media networks.
The role will work closely with the Social Media Consultant and Social Media Specialist and report to the Manager, Digital Marketing - Performance & Acquisition.
How you will create impact :
Provide day-to-day Hearsay program and platform support to Advisors and their staff, including : In-platform troubleshooting of Hearsay and connected social media networksResponding to inquiries around platform functionality, how-tos, compliance and regulatory guidelines / decisions, social media marketing best practices, etc.
Providing platform onboarding to new usersManaging user access requestsDelivering trainings and presentations about new platform features, changes, upgrades, etc.
- Manage a web-based resource library, including regular updates to existing documents and creation of new documents.
- Perform daily compliance reviews of content / posts and weekly compliance reviews of social profiles, working 1 : 1 with Advisors to provide clear feedback and direction around regulatory requirements, and consulting with Compliance teams as needed.
Maintain SLAs for reviews and anticipate and communicate any delays to Advisors.
- Proactively identify opportunities to help drive Advisor participation and engagement in the Hearsay program and platform.
- Manage a content calendar in collaboration with the Social Media Consultant and Specialist and Brand team. Load and schedule posts.
- Manage the social media marketing general email inbox.
- Collaborate with marketing Consultants and Specialists and Creative teams in the development of social content, including advocating for content that can be tailored to Advisors’ needs.
Proactively identify content opportunities to help Advisors promote their services.
- Deliver regular reporting and analysis and help with extrapolating insights.
- Work with the Social Media Consultant, internal business partners, and the vendor to continuously maintain optimal operations management of the Hearsay program and platform.

To join our team :
- You have a Degree or Diploma in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of previous experience working in a similar role is preferred. FI experience or experience working within regulated industries is beneficial.
- You have working knowledge in the leading social media platforms, and you stay current with new developments. Experience in social media management tools (, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) is an advantage.
- You’re digital tech savvy; you’re a quick learner of digital tools, platforms, and technologies.
- You have a good understanding of social media marketing best practices and KPIs.
- You’re comfortable working with numbers; you can prepare accurate reporting, interpret data, and communicate meaning
- You can create effective decks and slideshows and deliver engaging presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
