Senior Financial Controller

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in accounting and finance, with significant experience in senior roles. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving overall financial performance to support our business's continued growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive financial updates and strategic recommendations to the CEO, based on thorough analysis and reporting of key financial data.

Develop, implement, and enforce financial controls, policies, and procedures that ensure strong internal safeguards and protect company assets.

Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering accurate forecasts through detailed financial planning, analysis, and corrective actions when needed.

Drive payroll process efficiencies through the implementation of innovative systems and procedures.

Support and guide long-term and short-term business strategies by providing financial insights and operational forecasts.

Establish and maintain robust internal controls for revenue, expenses, and organizational budgets, ensuring compliance and financial stability.

Collaborate with the CEO to set and monitor financial benchmarks, KPIs, budgets, and reporting standards.

Ensure the company adheres to all accounting regulations, staying updated on legislative changes and implementing necessary adjustments.

Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks, fostering a culture of compliance and best practices throughout the organization.

Lead the coordination and preparation for external audits, ensuring financial statements are accurate, and audit-ready.

Provide dynamic leadership and mentoring to the accounting team, cultivating a culture of trust, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

10+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial management role.

Extensive knowledge of financial data analysis, banking processes, and financial controls.

Expertise in managing complex payroll systems and driving efficiency improvements.

Deep understanding of national and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Proven success in managing financial projects and leading strategic financial planning.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.

CPA designation or equivalent advanced financial certification.

Experience overseeing financial teams and managing audits in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
