The Coordinator, Health and Safety, supports sites and regional offices by ensuring compliance with corporate and industrial health and safety frameworks, and ensures that staff follow established health and safety policies and procedures. The incumbent promotes and coordinates health and safety efforts with multiple stakeholders (e.g. construction coordinators), audits contractor health and safety plans, and investigates health and safety incidents.

Security and Eligibility

A thorough security clearance process will be applied to all candidates or employees considered for an appointment; this process includes inquiries, verifications and assessments regarding matters such as, but not limited to, criminal record checks, reference checks, previous employment, open source checks, and credit / financial status. The process may require fingerprints.
To begin a career with Defence Construction Canada (DCC), you must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. Some roles may require different security levels, including Secret clearance. The Standard on Security Screening provides more information.
