Job description

Adecco is actively seeking a Trainer to join our client's team located in Ajax, ON. This is a full-time role offering a salary of $67,000 per annum. The Trainer will be pivotal in the integration and development of warehouse employees, ensuring that training procedures are conducted efficiently and that teams meet the company's operational standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Welcome and support new employees during their integration.
  • Facilitate training sessions on warehouse procedures, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure new recruits develop their skills effectively at their respective workstations.
  • Train existing teams on new procedures and updates to logistics processes.
  • Observe and evaluate employees to identify areas for improvement.
  • Tailor teaching methods to meet individual needs and learning levels.
  • Administer tests and simulations to assess employee learning.
  • Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify further training needs and develop corresponding action plans.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders and Process Assistants to optimize training processes.

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Previous experience in training roles, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to different learning needs.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and operational best practices.
