or with home nursing, where you will provide care to people of all ages in their homes and other community settings.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the provision of all aspects of care in the long-term care facility or the home, as well as the training and leadership of Licensed Practical Nurses and CCAs.
You must have a sincere passion and commitment to providing quality services for seniors.

Long-term Care
- Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
- Administer direct nursing care and plan Resident care in consultation from the multidisciplinary care team.
- Administering and recording prescribed medication
Home Care
- Diabetes management
- Dialysis
- IV medications
- Palliative care
- Phlebotomy
- Wound care

Current Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
