Our client in the materials industry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Deskside Support Analyst for a minimum 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful Billingual Deskside Support Analyst candidate will provide deskside support, helpdesk services, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks for a small . This role requires on-site presence and bilingual proficiency to effectively assist end users.
Responsibilities :
- Provide deskside support and helpdesk services to end-users.
- Install and configure Microsoft Office applications.
- Perform memory upgrades and other hardware installations.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for software and hardware issues.
- Respond to and resolve Level 1 technical support tickets.
- Document and track issues in the ticketing system.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts and profiles.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.Proficiency in installing and configuring Microsoft Office applications.Basic understanding of hardware components and memory upgrades.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills in both English and French are required for this role (can be French-only).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong customer service orientation.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. of computer equipment as needed.Ability to work onsite, daily in Coaticook, QC.
