Position Summary
Store Managers are responsible for the day-to-day integral operations of a Dutch Love retail store and ultimately held accountable to all aspects of brand and business operations, including but not limited to people, product, room integrity and financial metrics.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
- Maximize store sales via consistent leadership, planning and executing the brand strategy and vision with all team members
- Manage and report on all store activities and communicate store requirements as necessary
- Effectively delegate responsibilities and assign tasks as needed
- Follow through with deliverables on a daily, weekly and periodic basis
- Manage staff by maintaining clear and open communication, using disciplinary action when necessary
- Enforce all company policies and programs ensuring compliance, including loss and theft prevention
- Evaluate, optimize and maintain employee shifts / hours based on a performance based scheduling system
- Strive to meet sales targets and achieve profitability by controlling costs through effective labour and inventory budgets
