IT Security Varonis Implementation Consultant

Contract Term : 6 months, renewable or going perm.
Work Location : Toronto, ON / Hybrid or Remote

Our client, a global leading IT consulting company, is looking for a Varonis Implementation Consultant supporting multiple clients in the GTA, focused on financial services sector.

A combination of 1 or more skills : Varonis, OneTrust, BigID, Data Sentinel, Exterro

As a Varonis Implementation Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and then implement and configure Varonis solutions accordingly. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients achieve their data protection and compliance goals within the contractual timeframe.

Key Responsibilities :

Client Engagement : Collaborate closely with clients to assess their data privacy and compliance needs and define project requirements.

Varonis Configuration : Configure and customize Varonis solutions to align with client-specific requirements, including creating workflows, templates, and reports.

Documentation : Develop clear and concise implementation documentation and user guides.

Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during the implementation process.

Best Practices : Stay current with Varonis updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends to offer valuable insights to clients.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Information Security, Compliance).

Proven experience in implementing Varonis solutions.

In-depth knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Varonis certification is a plus.
