Position: AWS / GCP DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid, 2x per week in office (Toronto, Downtown)
Structure: Full-time hours - Contract (4 months to start)
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 p/h inc

Deliverables

• Support and execute DevOps initiatives across multi-cloud environments, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Assist with intake, prioritization, and delivery of cloud-related projects, contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using observability and monitoring tools, providing operational health updates and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, to support cloud cost planning, optimization, and governance initiatives.

Experience Required

• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using monitoring and observability tools such as AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Stack.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and finance stakeholders in cloud environments.
