Job description

The Mobile Shop is looking for a driven and dynamic District Manager to lead sales teams, drive operational excellence, and elevate the customer experience across our locations in BC East.

As a District Manager, you will oversee a group of store locations within your region, managing and mentoring Store Managers and Mobilists (our Sales Associates). You’ll play a key role in achieving sales and profitability targets, while fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and service excellence.

The Mobile Shop is located in over 200 Loblaw and Loblaw-affiliated stores across the country including Real Canadian Superstore in BC East. We offer a fresh and convenient way to shop for wireless products and plans. The Mobile Shop offers all leading wireless providers, including PC Mobile and pride ourselves on our full service and unbiased advice.

What You'll Do :

Achieve monthly sales and operational objectives for each store and lead teams to meet sales and profit targets

Travel extensively throughout the district to conduct regular store visits

Recruit, train, and create succession planning for top talent within the district ensuring optimal talent in stores at all times

Participate in weekly DM meetings or calls as scheduled

Conduct daily coaching with Store Managers and Mobile Advisors

Monitor inventory management process and reporting

Champion the loss prevention practices

Review district payroll on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy

Lead by example by being a health and safety champion in the workplace

Foster a positive working relationship between The Mobile Shop staff and the Loblaw store employees

Perform other related duties

Qualifications :

Minimum 3 -5 years of management experience, preferably in wireless retail industry

Ability to manage multiple groups and priorities in a vigorous sales environment

Strong leadership and team development skills

Demonstrated ability to produce business results by building an engaged team

University Degree / College Diploma in Business or Finance or equivalent experience

Extensive travel required throughout the district; valid driver’s license required
