Job Description Summary
As a member of our field staff, you’re part of a large team that shares the workload and supports one another at every turn. Field staff are responsible for delivering and installing temporary fence. They work together with guidance from our Supervisor and Operations Manager throughout the day. They arrive together, load their trucks together, and always strive to deliver the best customer experience possible. Full in‑depth training and coaching is provided to all field staff, along with forklift certification. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and interacts with clients, Sunbelt's Operations team, and its counterparts daily.
Qualifications
Experience driving a one‑tonne truck delivering materials to and from various job sites safely
Experience supervising the crew and acting as the lead hand once on site
Familiar with safely setting up and tearing down fence
Experience completing operational paperwork (job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.) as directed
Knowledgeable of Sunbelt's key products / services; understands how to resolve customer issues
Sufficient experience working closely with the Operations team and solving on‑site issues
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Clean driver’s abstract and valid Class 5 License
Ability to work weekends / longer hours when required
Ability to physically handle (lift, carry, etc.) heavy fence panels
Ability to navigate to sites to ensure the crew arrives in the safest and most expedient way possible
Must have own transportation
Safe and defensive driving habits
Experience operating tablets and smartphones
Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washer, painters, banding equipment, etc.) considered an asset

Physical Demands
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors / outdoors when required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to comply with applicable laws.
