Senior Account Executive
We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Senior Account Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team!

About the role :
The Senior Account Executive will join the Sales & Marketing team, leading the development of enterprise accounts and opportunities, providing hands-on client engagement and development.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Senior Account Executive will bring their enterprise sales best practices and leadership to the table.
On any given day, you will be using your knowledge of our product suite to work with prospects and clients hoping to solve their problems with our enterprise-wide learning experiences and solutions.
Using your problem solving, communication and influencing skills, you will provide BoC-caliber consulting and client service.
You anticipate how decisions are made, who’s making them, and persistently explore how you can uncover more context about the problem the client is looking to solve to ensure the solution you’re recommending is tailor-fitted to their needs.

As a Senior Account Executive, yours will be amongst the key relationships with our clients and partners.
Key Accountabilities :
Cultivating relationships with your clients to understand and anticipate their needs
Courageously and proactively pursuing business development opportunities : pursuing new leads (both sales and marketing generated) to develop net new business with new logos
Developing strategies to grow key relationships and to land new accounts
Securing new and existing business through consultative sales
Working with your colleagues to execute the organizational sales strategy
Coaching and being coached by your peers
Managing your identified targets and accounts, and working to achieve your sales goals to develop and close new business
Completing sales administration activities, such as tracking data and using the CRM to report on status and progress
Screening potential business deals and RFPs by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials
Travelling occasionally, for conferences and to meet with clients and prospects
Working closely with our marketing team to share feedback and opportunities for messaging and content creation.
About You :
Our ideal candidate :
Has 3-5+ years’ enterprise sales experience in the learning and development market, or else selling professional services or other highly consultative solutions
Has experience selling to F1000 companies, and can navigate long business development cycles and the complex sales process that goes with them
Is comfortable being a key liaison for clients and vendors alike
Can set, hit, and track to sales target
Demonstrates curiosity that’s in the service of others and the business
Has experience with and is comfortable using Salesforce as a CRM
Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates strong sales foundational knowledge, including :
- The ability to work all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiations and closing
- Understanding and implementing lead generation and business development strategies.
- Effectively managing and growing your sales portfolio.
- Administering sales processes and activities.
- Staying informed about the industry and competitors to make informed strategic decisions.
