We are looking for a customer-oriented , motivated individual to join our professional team as an Outside Sales Representative for our Trench Safety Aldergrove, BC territory!

Cooper Trench Safety is a specialty division offered by Cooper Equipment Rentals to serve the trench safety needs of contractors. Established in 1972, Cooper Equipment Rentals has always been committed to putting customers first. The Trench Safety Division will allow Cooper’s customers to have more convenient access to Trench Safety experts to serve all their trenching safety needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for prospecting new customers and projects as well as maintaining current customers/relationships.
• Execute on leads generated from various sources including but limited to: association participation, Construct Connect and CRM.
• Analyze customer needs and requirements, and present customers with effective temporary shoring/shielding solutions to suit their specific job.
• Coordinate customer engineering requirements and site-specific requirements with our engineering department and operations staff promptly and accurately, keeping all stakeholders informed.
• Effectively manage and develop multiple relationships both internal and external.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma with a civil engineering background an asset.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role within the civil construction industry is an asset.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
