We are looking for a Senior Java developer,on contract, for one of our major clients in Ontario. The work is remote.Please read details below.
Senior Enterprise Java Developer and Lead
The technical requirements for the Java Lead arethe same as that of Java developer with the additional experience in managing ateam of developers.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or related discipline from an accreditedinstitution
- 8+ years of relevant professionalexperience in business or technology as a developer.
- Exceptional communication andcollaboration skills including experience working with technical andnon-technical stakeholders
- Java developer responsibilities includedesigning and developing web applications to deliver high-performance andresponsive web applications.
- Proficient in Java and Object-Orienteddesign patterns
- Knowledgeable with Relational Databasessuch as MySQL, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle
- Strong experience in Service / SystemIntegrations for developing RESTful web services or APIs & implementing andutilizing third party Web services.
- Agile Development Processes and Tools(Jira, Confluence, Scrum, etc.)
- Experience with Source Control tools,such as Git, automated build setup, and deployment procedures
