Plan and execute Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) tasks in alignment with Oil Sands operations.Collaborate with execution, planning, and engineering teams to coordinate turnarounds and outages.Attend project execution meetings to determine priority work fronts and allocate resources efficiently.Perform workplace observations and field inspections to ensure safety and operational standards.Communicate with execution leads to address evolving priorities during projects.Identify and report issues to QA teams and engineering departments .Oversee contractor workforce, including ramp-up and ramp-down scheduling .Coordinate logistics and infrastructure needs , including radio distribution, cell phone allocation, vehicle access, and fuel card management.Utilize SAP software for step closures and real-time project updates.Qualifications & Skills :
Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a certified NDT Technician in Oil Sands operations .Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel , and other relevant software.Prior experience at Suncor Baseplant or similar Oil Sands projects is an asset.Strong technical and communication skills , with the ability to lead meetings and discussions.Proven experience in a fast-paced work environment with multiple vendors and contractors.A commitment to safety protocols and cost-saving strategies aligned with Suncor's vision.Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity as an NDT Turnaround Coordinator in Fort McMurray.
