JPD is seeking a full-time Development Manager to join our development team. The Development Manager reports directly to the VP – Development & Investment. The role is an exciting opportunity to work for a very well capitalized and stable business on projects spanning a variety of asset classes and markets. We have a small close knit team and you will be supported by a very capable Development Coordinator. You will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the entire development lifecycle including due diligence, approvals, design and construction. This will include close collaboration with external consultants, marketing and city staff. The projects you will initially be responsible for are multifamily residential.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, collaborative and driven individual that is passionate about furthering their career in real estate. You are an excellent communicator with strong analytical and organizational skills. You are a self-starter but also love to collaborate with those around you. The ideal profile we are looking for is someone that has 5+ years relevant experience as Development Manager. Ideally having taken at least one multifamily project right through the development process. You should have a relevant education such as Urban Land, Architecture or Engineering but most importantly you have a positive attitude and genuine interest in real estate.
In exchange for your hard work and commitment you will earn an attractive compensation package including competitive base salary of $115-125k (commensurate with experience level), bonus and RRSP matching.
