Job descriptionEducation : College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience

- Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian

- Counsel clients on animal health care
- Conduct and assist in laboratory research
- May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
