BCHS is the area’s acute care facility, providing all of Brantford and Brant County's specialty programs and services for our 120,000+ residents and boasts stable, state‑of‑the‑art programs within a team environment that ensures high level patient‑focused care. We are a regional centre for a variety of services including surgical services. The Department of Internal Medicine is comprised of several divisions including Hospital Based Internist (HBI), Critical Care, Oncology, GI and Subspecialty Medicine.
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Subspecialty Medicine at the Brant Community Healthcare System is currently recruiting a full‑time Associate neurology to join the growing service. This opportunity includes inpatient work providing consultations to inpatients as well as the emergency department, EMG resources along with work in our General Neurology Rapid Access Clinic.
The ideal candidate will have an independent practice licence from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and Neurology certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. We are looking for individuals with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, and a dedication to service excellence. They should also be a strong team player to work effectively with physicians, nursing, staff, patients, managers and the community with a commitment to medical education.
