Project Manager – Endoscopy Information Systems Implementation

Mandatory Skills and Experience :

  • Project Management Expertise :
  • Experience in leading and managing full project lifecycles, including planning, business and systems analysis, risk management, and task assignment.
  • Knowledge of IMITS project delivery lifecycle and project gating .
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks such as PQTO .
  • Healthcare IT Systems Experience :
  • Demonstrated success in implementing Endoscopy Information Systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge and experience working with Provation EndoPro IQ and interfacing systems like ADT , SIU , and ORM .
  • Experience with HL7 integration between Clinical and Endoscopy Information Systems.
  • Familiarity with data archival strategies and solutions in healthcare IT.
  • Risk and Issue Management :
  • Strong experience in risk management , including risk assessment, tracking, and resolution of emergent issues.
  • Ability to manage triggered risks and proactively resolve challenges during the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management :
  • Ability to liaise with Vendor resources , including Project Managers , Business Analysts , and Consultants .
  • Experience coordinating with PHSA Technical Services resources for infrastructure, networking, and technical support.
  • Communication and Documentation :
  • Strong communication skills to lead meetings , facilitate open discussions, and ensure proper documentation (e.g., Steering Committee Agendas, Project Milestone Schedule, Status Reports).
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Project Decision Logs , Risk and Issue Logs , and project reports .
  • Project Financial Management :
  • Experience with budget tracking , including invoice tracking , forecasting , and financial reporting .
  • Technical Collaboration :
  • Ability to work with technical teams (e.g., architecture, integration, network, security) to achieve project outcomes.
  • Understanding of PHSA Privacy and Security and Architecture requirements in healthcare IT projects.
  • Local Presence and Site Visits :
  • The Project Manager must be based in Vancouver , with the ability to attend various sites for meetings and interact with internal and external stakeholders at 1885 West Broadway, Vancouver .

Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory) :

  • Experience in clinical systems integration .
  • Familiarity with CST interfacing systems.
  • Experience working with Confluence or similar project documentation tools.
