Randstad Canada is hiring for an Electrical Assembler in Milton for one of our leading clients in the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing industry.
This position is intended to be an initial contract via Randstad Canada until the employee is able to converted to the client's team as an internal employee.
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role involves wiring, mounting, and troubleshooting complex electrical components for Custom Switchboards.
Medium to advanced wiring skills are required; it is not suitable for those with only basic wiring experience.
The location is on Industrial Dr, Milton, ON.
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime.
Starting wage is $23 / hr.

Responsibilities
- Understand one-line diagrams and customer drawings.
- Plan and execute wire placement, connection, and termination for electrical devices.
- Detect and report design issues in schematics.
- Ensure proper voltage separation, current levels, and standard color coding.
- Conduct tests such as continuity checks and wire pull tests.
- Fix issues found during inspections and tests.
- Follow CSA and UL codes.
- Keep KANBAN and MRB processes accurate.
- Show commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Understand mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures in manufacturing.
- Layout, mount, wire, and troubleshoot industrial components accurately.
- Apply proper connection methods to equipment.
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in medium to complex non-standard wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma Tools.
