Business Analyst

About You

You are a clear communicator, confident with both business and data. You're experienced with Power BI and SQL, and you know how to turn raw data into insight. You're comfortable in high‑stakes, data‑driven financial environments and understand how to collaborate with operations, investment, and IT teams.

As a Strategio Business Analyst, you will

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for investment‑related data initiatives
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with BI and engineering teams
• Build and optimize Power BI dashboards and visual reports for operational and management use
• Partner with investment and operations teams to validate datasets and clarify reporting logic
• Execute or support SQL queries and data modelling efforts to improve analysis workflows
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate in sprint‑based solution delivery
• Support testing phases including regression, system integration, and UAT
• Act as a liaison between SimCorp data sources and enterprise data environments

Core Skills

• Experience as a Business Analyst in financial, investment, or data‑heavy environments
• Hands‑on proficiency in Power BI and SQL
• Strong understanding of investment operations, data flows, and key financial metrics
• Experience gathering and translating requirements across business and IT teams
• English fluency; French is a plus

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension for data extraction or analysis
• Exposure to Snowflake, Alteryx, or Python in analytics workflows
• Understanding of data governance, data lineage, or regulatory reporting
• Experience with performance attribution or portfolio accounting data
• Previous work with large asset management institutions
