We are offering an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will ensure the high performance and security of our cloud and on-premise infrastructure, design and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines, and manage our data warehouse. You will also play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our DevOps processes and data architecture.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the performance and capacity planning of Tableau Server and address any connectivity and performance issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and availability in the data warehouse
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance automation, cloud operations, and release management processes
- Implement and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Microsoft Azure Data Factory and related technologies
- Manage access control and security compliance across DevOps tools and cloud environments
- Act as a subject-matter expert in DevOps and data architecture, advising IT and business teams on technology decisions
- Provide strategic technology improvement and innovation recommendations to senior leadership
- Support change management initiatives by ensuring smooth transitions in DevOps processes, infrastructure updates, and data architecture improvements
- Work closely with business intelligence personnel, providing guidance on data modeling, query optimization, and analytics best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Support data integration initiatives for seamless data flow between ERP, business intelligence tools, and other business systems
- Identify and implement best practices for data governance, quality control, and performance optimization
- Mentor other IT staff, providing training on infrastructure management, DevOps processes, and best practices
- Drive transparency, documentation, and structured processes across DevOps and data operations
- Identify opportunities for machine learning and assist in building AI-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in Ansible for executing complex IT automation tasks.
- Demonstrable experience in Automation, particularly in software development and system updates.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
- Ability to perform complex Cluster Analysis tasks.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, with a focus on integrating various services and tools.
