Responsibilities

• Feeding and caring for animals.
• Maintaining supplies and equipment.
• Maintaining records.
• Completing laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Taking vital signs and collecting samples.
• Administering medications, drugs, and vaccines.
• Bandaging and wrapping wounds.
• Supporting animal examinations by assembling required supplies and instruments.
• Preparing surgical instruments.
• Completing local anesthesia.
• Placing catheters and obtaining blood samples.
• Maintaining sterile conditions.
• Preparing and verifying medications.
• Cleaning animal cages and equipment.
• Assisting during operations.
