Our client is looking for a Senior technical project manager - Data readiness, data migration and validation

for a contract.

Job Summary

Drive planning and strategy formulation for data within the SAP implementation program & manage over all data migration components ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines and overall Program Directions. Oversee the data related topics for deployments, and integration of these solutions, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines.

Principal Responsibilities Lead the planning and strategy of data object master for SAP program ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines and overall Program Directions :

Data load planning & Support

Master Data Interim State & Hypercare support model

Load program & activity management (document current state and identify future requirements

Define data scope per deployment, identify deliverables, and resource requirements.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document data plan

Oversee the implementation, deployment, and integration of these solutions, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and business analysts, to ensure smooth data load execution.

Ensure the quality, reliability and validation processes.

Identify potential risks and challenges during solution delivery and develop mitigation strategies.

Address and resolve issues that arise during the data load phases, minimizing disruptions to project timelines.

Maintain comprehensive documentation solution design, configuration, and implementation processes.

Provide all guidance and documentation for internal audit of data related activities

Manage the expectations and feedback of the stakeholders, and handle any issues or risks that may arise

Generate project status reports, performance metrics, and documentation for stakeholders and management review.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimization, and innovation within delivered solutions.

Ensure Data Readiness (Legacy Source - Data Cleansing, Data alignment, Data Verification process)

Legacy Data Migration Planning and cutover Readiness

Transfer the knowledge, documentation, and best practices to the relevant managers and teams, and provide training and guidance as needed.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Data Management; or Project Management PMP certification.

Relevant 8+ years of related work experience responsible for an organization’s complete and accurate master data processes.

Expertise in business processes within a manufacturing industry.

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of master data elements, processes and organizational support models.

Collaboration and teamwork skills with ability to work with multiple and diverse stakeholders.

Knowledge of SAP modules (Ariba, EWM, MDG etc.)

Knowledge of SQL, LTMC, BODs and LSWM.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset.

Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and in a cross-functional environment and, communicate with people at various levels up to senior management.
