Job description

What you’ll do :

  • Achieve budgeted sales for the assigned portfolio of local Co-ops by collaborating with Store Managers to identify sales improvements, build sales action plans, and coach them on how to execute these plans.
  • Improve EBITDA results by working with local Co-op Senior team leaders to develop action plans, operational reviews, and coach them on effective implementation.
  • Provide leadership to local Co-ops for renovations, expansions, replacements and greenfield stores while overseeing inside store set up, CASM selection, placement, and Grand Opening events.
  • Provide feedback to Home Office regarding local market conditions, competitive pricing and marketing activity, policy and program recommendations, sales and promotion ideas.
  • Approximate annual travel of 70% required.

The Team : You will work closely with Operation Advisors, Operation Managers, Home Office, Customer Service Teams, local Co-op Grocery Managers, Store Managers, Division Managers and will report into the Operations Manager, Food. This team strives to cultivate a culture of positivity, connectedness, motivation, and trust.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and :

  • Have 6-9 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
