• Purpose

Automation Technicians will support Project Managers and System Engineers in creating, installing, and commissioning PLC / HMI / SCADA systems, as well as network and device integration work.

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Minimum of three years of experience with PLC / HMI control systems preferred or an A.A.S degree in Robotics, Automation, Technology, or in the process of completion.

Knowledge of PLC software (e.g., Rockwell RSLogix, Studio 5000), HMI software (e.g., FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouch), SCADA systems (preferred), Windows Office, repositories (OneDrive, SharePoint), and basic networking and process control understanding. Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Prolonged sitting at a desk, lifting up to 20 pounds, field interactions requiring standing, walking, climbing stairs, and exposure to weather conditions. Must have a laptop.
